Why this feels different

Most professional learning asks educators to do more, but The Slow Teacher Studio offers something else entirely.

This is a studio-sanctuary...

It creates the conditions for thoughtful teaching to flourish again.

Instead of adding to your workload, it offers space to think, notice, create, and (re)connect with the ideas that first drew you to education.

This space honours you as intelligent, thoughtful educators who crave somewhere your thinking, humanity, and professional identity can be authentically supported.

There's no busyness or urgency here...EVER!

Why was the studio created?

The Slow Teacher Studio was created for educators who still love learning but just don't have the bandwidth for another course, another webinar, or another demand on their time.

Instead, you'll receive a carefully curated dose of inspiration each month that helps you reconnect with yourself and your practice.

Who runs The Slow Teacher Studio?

Hi, I'm Kelly Boucher. I'm an educator, researcher, artist, and pedagogical leadership coach. I created The Slow Teacher Studio because, after more than two decades of walking alongside educators, I keep noticing the same patterns. The most thoughtful educators never stop caring, they've lost the capacity to keep on doing All. The. Things!

As the pace of education continues to intensify, with growing complexity and competing demands, the time and space needed for thoughtful reflection is often seen as a luxury by educators.

This Studio is my response this. I've curated a space where your thinking, curiosity, and pedagogical identity can be gently expanded.

I believe you deserve the conditions to think deeply, trust your own discernment, and remain deeply human while doing this very important work. I have been saving a place for you...see you inside!

“I was left with a sense that learning & knowing come from the simplest of places. I am excited to put these proposals into practice!”
